BATTERY/CHARGING SYSTEM
Remove the O-ring from the alternator.

DISASSEMBLY
Mark the front and rear housings before disassem-
bly to identify their original position.
Remove the four bolts and separate the front hous-
ing/rotor from the rear housing/stator.
Remove the four screws and separate the rotor from
IL SEAL SCREWS
the front housing.
Remove the oil seal from the front housing.

Remove the terminal cap, nut and terminal set from
the rear housing.
