CAUTION: Be sure to install the SRS wiring so that
it is not pinched or interfering with other car parts.
1 . Install the SRS unit.

TORX Q BOLTS 6
10 N-m (1.0 kg-m, 7.2 lb-ft)
Replace.
2. Clip the SRS main harness into the harness holder,
then connect it to SRS unit.

NOTE: To reinstall a connector, push it into posi-
tion until it clicks.
3. install the carpet.

10 N-m (1.0 kg-m, 7.2 lb-ft)
Replace.
4. Disconnect the short connector from the airbag con-
nector and connect the cable reel and airbag harness.
NOTE: Attach the short connector to lid A, then in-
stall the lid.

5. Connect the battery positive terminal, then connect
the negative terminal.
6. After installing the airbag assembly, confirm proper
system operation:
SRS indicator light should go on for about 6 se-
conds and then go off.
