Supplemental Restrant System (SRS)
-Cable Reel Removal
Store a removed airbag assembly
with the pad surface up. If the airbag is improperly
stored face down, accidental deployment could
propel the unit with enough force to cause serious
injury.

4. Remove the steering wheel maintenance lid A, and
disconnect the cable reel harness and airbag assem-
bly 3-P connector. Connect the short connector to
the airbag assembly.
