ABS/TCS Components
DTC Troubleshooting (cont'd)
19. Measure the voltage between the ABS/TCS control
unit connector B (16P) terminal No. 13 and body
ground.
ABS/TCS CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR B (16P)
Wire side of female terminals
Is there battery voltage?
YES
If the problem recurs, replace the ABS/TCS
control unit.
NO
Repair open in the wire between the TCS
relay and the ABS/TCS control unit.

TCS DTC 31:
Engine Retard Command
(PFINH) Signal ('99-00 models)
NOTE: If the MIL or ABS indicator is ON, troubleshoot
the PGM-FI or ABS first.
1. Disconnect PCM connector E (12P) and the ABS/
TCS control unit connector B (16P).
2. Check for continuity between the PCM connector E
(12P) terminal No. 3 and body ground.
PCM CONNECTOR E (12P)
PFINH (LT GRN/RED)
Wire side of female terminals
Is there continuity?
YES
Repair short to body ground in the wire
between the PCM and the ABS/TCS control unit.
NO
Go to step 3.
3. Connect the PCM connector E (12P).
4. Start the engine.
