This command is used to assign views to community strings to limit which MIB objects an
SNMP manager can access.
create snmp view <view_name 32> <oid> view_type [included | excluded]
The create snmp view command assigns views to community strings to limit which MIB
objects an SNMP manager can access.
Note: This is SNMPv3 command, if it is used; All SNMPv1/v2 commands are not necessary.
view_name - View name to be created.
oid - Object-Identified tree, MIB tree.
view_type - Specify the access type of the MIB tree in this view.
included - Includes for this view.
excluded - Excluded for this view.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
This command is used to remove a view record.
delete snmp view <view_name 32> [all | <oid>]
The delete snmp view command removes a view record.
Note: This is SNMPv3 command, if it is used; All SNMPv1/v2 commands are not necessary.
view_name - View name to be deleted.
