cos-queue strict
Use the cos-queue strict command in either Global Configuration mode or Interface
Configuration mode to activate the strict priority scheduler mode for each specified queue. To
restore the default weighted scheduler mode for each specified queue, use the no form of this
command.

queue-id-1 — Specifies the queue ID for which you are activating the strict priority scheduler.
You can specify a queue ID for as many queues as you have (queue-id 1 through queue-id-n).
(Range: 0–6)

Example
The following example displays how to activate the strict priority scheduler mode for two
queues.

The following example displays how to activate the strict priority scheduler mode for three
queues.
console(config)#cos-queue strict 1 2 4
diffserv
Use the diffserv command in Global Configuration mode to set the DiffServ operational mode
to active. While disabled, the DiffServ configuration is retained and can be changed, but it is
not activated. When enabled, DiffServ services are activated. To set the DiffServ operational
mode to inactive, use the no form of this command.
