ip pimsm register-threshold

The ip pimsm register-threshold command is used to configure the Register Threshold rate for
the RP router to switch to the shortest path. Use the "no" form of this command to set the
register threshold rate to the default. This command deprecates the ip pimsm register rate limit
command.
Syntax
ip pimsm register-threshold
no ip pimsm register-threshold
threshold — The threshold rate (Range: 0–2000 Kbps).
Default Configuration
The default threshold rate is 0. Previously, the default was 50.

ip pimsm rp-address

The ip pimsm rp-address command is used to statically configure the RP address for one or
more multicast groups. The optional keyword override indicates that if there is a conflict, the RP
configured with this command prevails over the RP learned by BSR. Use the "no" form of this
command to remove the RP address for one or more multicast groups. This command
deprecates the ip pimsm staticrp command.
Syntax
rp-address group-address group-mask
ip pimsm rp-address
no ip pimsm rp-address
rp-address — IP address of RP.
group-address — Group IP address supported by RP.
group-mask — Group subnet mask for group address.
override — Override a conflicting address learned by BSR.
