ip igmp snooping maxresponse

This command sets the IGMP Maximum Response time on a particular VLAN. The Maximum
Response time is the amount of time in seconds that a switch will wait after sending a query on
an interface because it did not receive a report for a particular group in that interface. This value
must be less than the IGMP Query Interval time value. The range is 1 to 3174 seconds. The no
form of this command sets the maximum response time on the VLAN to the default value.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping maxresponse
no ip igmp snooping maxresponse
vlan-id — Number assigned to the VLAN.
seconds — IGMP Maximum response time in seconds. (Range: 1-3174)
Default Configuration
The default maximum response time is 10 seconds.

User Guidelines
When using IGMP Snooping Querier, this parameter should be less than the value for the
IGMP Snooping Querier query interval.
Example
The following example sets the maximum response time to 60 seconds on VLAN 2.
