The following example sets MAC Authentication Bypass on interface 1/2:

dot1x max-req

Use the dot1x max-req command in Interface Configuration mode to set the maximum number
of times that the switch sends an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)-request frame
(assuming that no response is received) to the client before restarting the authentication
process. To return to the default setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
dot1x max-req
no dot1x max-req
count — Number of times that the switch sends an EAP-request/identity frame before
restarting the authentication process. (Range: 1–10)
