Description
Ethernet port, 1 GB SFP socket enabled.
WARNING! The IX40 only supports SFP Modules. An SFP+
Module will not be recognized.
10/100/1000 copper Ethernet port and defaults to a LAN port.
Mutually exclusive ports, set up as ETH1 , which is a WAN connection
waiting for a DHCP network address. This is the primary interface for the
Digi IX40. It has the highest routing metric.

When the SFP/ETH1 card slot is populated, the WAN/ETH1 port is
disabled.

When the SFP/ETH1 card slot is unpopulated, WAN/ETH1 is a
10/100/1000 copper Ethernet port.
The ERASE button resets the Digi AP (Wi-Fi) IX40, and it has three modes:
1. Configuration reset: Press the ERASE button one time to reset
the Digi IX40 configurations to the factory default. It will not
remove any automatically generated certificates and keys.
2. Full device reset: After the Digi IX40 reboots from the first button
press and before it connects to the internet, press the ERASE
button again to also remove generated certificates and keys.
3. Firmware reversion: Press and hold the ERASE button and then
power on the Digi IX40 to boot to the version of firmware that was
used prior to the current version.
