6. Set the protocol:
(config io monitoring server name )> protocol value
(config io monitoring server name )>
where value is either tcp or udp. tcp is the default.
7. Set the interval, in seconds, that the device will use to upload I/O information to the remote
server:
(config io monitoring server name )> polling_period int
(config io monitoring server name )>
The default is one second.
8. Repeat for each additional remote server.
9. Save the configuration and apply the change
(config io monitoring server name)> save
Configuration saved.

10. Type exit to exit the Admin CLI.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.

The port on the remote server that will listen for monitoring information.

The communication protocol (either TCP or UDP).

1. Log into Digi Remote Manager, or log into the local Web UI as a user with full Admin access
rights.
2. Access the device configuration:
