3-1 System Wiring Diagram
Supply power according to the rated power
Power input
specifications indicated in the manual (see
Chapter 08 Specifications).
NFB
There may be a large inrush current during
or
power on. See Section 6-2 NFB to select a
fuse
suitable NFB or fuse.
Switching the power ON/OFF on the primary side
of the electromagnetic contactor can make
IED-S run/stop, but frequent switching can cause
machine failure. Do not switch ON/OFF more
Electromagnetic
contactor
than once an hour.
Do not use the electromagnetic contactor as the
power switch for IED-S; doing so shortens the
life of IED-S.
When the main power supply capacity is greater
than 500 kVA, or when it switches into the phase
capacitor, the instantaneous peak voltage and
current generated may destroy the internal circuit
AC reactor
of IED-S. It is recommended that you install an
(input)
AC reactor at input side in IED-S. This also
improves the power factor and reduces power
harmonics. The wiring distance should be within
10 m. See Chapter 06 Optional Accessories for
details.
Use to reduce radiated interference, especially in
environments with audio devices, and reduce
Zero phase
input and output side interference.
reactor
The effective range is AM band to 10 MHz.
See Chapter 06 Optional Accessories for
details.0 MHz。
EMC
Use to reduce electromagnetic interference.
filter
Use to shorten the deceleration time of the
Brake resistor
motor. See Chapter 06 Optional Accessories for
(BR)
details.
The motor cable length affects the size of the
reflected wave on the motor end. It is
AC reactor
recommended that you install an AC output
(output)
reactor when the motor wiring length exceeds 20
meters. See Chapter 06 Optional Accessories for
details..
