The following table lists the most common attributes used to configure the LDAP lookup on systems.

Procedure
1. On your web user interface, go to DirectoryLDAP.
2. Configure and save the following settings:

Description
Enable or disable the LDAP
feature on the system.
Default: Disabled.
Configure the name attribute
for LDAP searching.
Example: (|(cn=%)(sn=%))
Configure the number
attribute for LDAP searching.
Example: (|
(telephoneNumber=%)

First name
LDAP attribute is made up from given name
joined to surname.
Last name or family name
The unique identifier for each entry

The office phone number
