5.1 Removing and installing fuel pressure
sender - G247-
If the fuel pressure sender - G247- fails, the fuel pressure regu‐
lating valve - N276- is switched off, the fuel pump is fully activated
and the engine operates at the existing fuel pressure. There is a
considerable reduction of the engine torque as a result.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Assembly tool - T10118-
♦ Polydrive socket - T40218- or usual 27 mm Polydrive socket
Removing
– Remove engine cover
– Release screws -1 and 3-.
– Unlock latch -arrow- and remove cover -2-.
– Expose coolant hose -2-.
– Unlock catches -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe top
