– Remove bolts -arrows-.
– Remove chain tensioner for balancing shaft timing chain -1-.
– Remove guide rail - 3 -.
– Remove the balancing shaft timing chain.
Install
– Turn the intermediate shaft wheel and balancing shaft to the
marks -arrow-; do not undo the screw -1-.
Note
Depending on the gear ratio, the marks only overlap every 7th
revolution.
– Place on the balancing shaft timing chain; the coloured chain
links -arrows- must be in the area of markings on the chain
sprockets.
