– Unclip cover -1- for the right closing flange using the disas‐
sembly wedge - 3409- from the uptake -arrows-.
– Disconnect plug connections -1 and 2- at fuel pump.
Vehicles with auxiliary heating
– Disconnect plug connection for auxiliary heating dosing pump.
Continued for all vehicles
WARNING
Risk of injury caused by fuel which is under high pressure.
Lay a clean cloth around the connection point and carefully
slacken the connection point in order to relieve the pressure in
the fuel system.
– Disconnect fuel line -1- at the closing flange
Vehicles with auxiliary heating
– Loosen hose clamp, fuel line -2- to the dosing pump for the
auxiliary heating from the closing flange.
Continued for all vehicles
– Open lock ring with the wrench - T30101 (3087)- .
