The fuel system is under pressure! Before opening the system,
you must remove the pressure in the high-pressure system

electrical fuel pump
which supplies fuel to
the mechanical fuel
pump
❑ when installing the high
pressure pump, ensure
that no dirt gets into the
fuel system.
❑ The fuel system must be
de-pressurised
