IMPORTANT Many nitrile and latex gloves not certified for clean room use contain
silicone mold releasing agents that will contaminate the instrument. For this reason, clean
room gloves are strongly recommended when touching components inside the vacuum
manifold. We recommend Cardinal Health CP100 Nitrile Cleanroom Gloves. See the
ISQ and TSQ GC-MS Spare Parts Guide for ordering information.
12. Look through the top of the instrument and use a clean T10 Torxhead screwdriver to
loosen the screw holding the filament retaining clip in place. Then rotate the clip away
from the filament.
