5. Attach new wires to each side of the rods. Ensure that the copper washers are on either
side of the wires.
CAUTION - INSTRUMENT DAMAGE Be careful when removing and inserting the screws
on the metal quadrupole rod endcaps. The screws are susceptible to falling between the
rods.
ATTENTION DOMMAGES À L'INSTRUMENT Soyez prudent lorsque vous enlevez et insérez
les vis au niveau des bouchons de tige du quadripôle métallique. Ces vis peuvent tomber
entre les barres.
