Magnet Yoke, Manifold O-Ring, and Source Retainer Magnets

Note If you have an Advanced EI source, follow the steps in
page 420 to replace these parts.
 To replace the magnet yoke, manifold o-ring, or source retainer magnets on the
manifold door
Note For information about replacing the tray alignment pin on the back manifold plate,
see Back Manifold Plate.
1. Shut down your system by following the steps in
on page 127. You do not have to remove the ion source cartridge or the column. If you
are using hydrogen as a carrier gas, power off the GC.
2. Use a T20 Torxhead screwdriver to remove the four screws around the manifold door.
