9.8 VDSL Port Setup

Click Port > VDSL in the navigation panel to open the following screen. Use this screen to

configure settings for individual VDSL ports on VLCs that follow the VDSL1 MIB as defined in ADSL

Extension Line MIB (RFC 3440).

Select the number of a line card's slot. The corresponding subscriber port setup screen for

the type of line card you selected automatically displays.

Select the number of a DSL port on the line card.

Click Load to display the port's settings in the fields below.

Select this check box to turn on this port.

Select a VDSL line profile to assign to this port. Use the VDSL Profile screen to configure

VDSL port profiles.

Select a profile defined by the VDSL of ADSL2+ standard from the drop-down list box. The

possible options are auto, 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 12a, 12b, 17a, adsl2+, vdsl2. Refer to

9.2.4 on page 206

for profile information.
