Network Size
The size of the network number determines the maximum number of possible hosts you can have
on your network. The larger the number of network number bits, the smaller the number of
remaining host ID bits.

DESCRIPTION
Enter the VLAN ID of the subscribers for which you are configuring this rule. Make sure
you have enabled the VLAN in the ACL > MACFF > MACFF Vlan screen before you set it
here.
Enter the IP address of the AR (Access Router) or AS (Application Server) to which you
want to forward ARP requests from this entry. The system drops ARP replies from other
devices connected to the uplink port so they remain hidden.
Note: This router or server should also be a member of the specified VLAN.
Enter a possible subnet IP address of your subscriber device(s), to which this MACFF rule
applies.
Enter the number of bits for the specified IP address's netmask from left to right. This
determines how many subscriber IP addresses should be included in this rule.

changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Config Save link on the navigation
panel to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Click Cancel to begin configuring the fields afresh.
