DESCRIPTION
This column lists the management switch card's Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
Enable or disable loop guard for this individual port.
Select the port mode for loop guard.
If you select fix, the system shuts down the port when the system detects that packets sent
out on the port loop back to the system. To activate the port again, you need to manually
enable the port in the corresponding port setup screen.
If you select dynamic, the system shuts down the port if the system detects that packets
sent out on the port loop back to the system. The port becomes active automatically after
the time you specified in the Time field.
Enter the time (in seconds) a port in dynamic mode waits to become active again after shut
down by the system.
Click Apply to save the changes in this part of the screen to the system's volatile memory.
The system loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Config Save
link on the navigation panel and then the Save button to save your changes to the non-
volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Use the drop-down list boxes to select a line card and port.
Click Load to display the port's current settings.
