Parameters
minutes: Value of delay time in minutes, in the range 0 to 1000.
Usage guidelines
Frequently sending call requests to a wrong destination (which does not exist or is faulty) will deteriorate
the operating efficiency of the device. Using this function can avoid this problem to a certain extent. If the
previous call failed at one destination, the X.25 would not send calls to such a destination again within
the specified time.
If this parameter is set to 0, it is equal to disabling the function. In addition, this function is only effective
on the calls originating from the local and does not take effect when the X.25 operates in the switching
mode.

# Set the delay to 5 minutes on X.25 interface Serial 2/0.

x25 timer idle

Use x25 timer idle to set the maximum idle time of the SVC on the interface.
Use undo x25 timer idle to restore the default.

undo x25 timer idle

This value is 0.

minutes: Maximum idle time of SVC in the range of 0 to 255 minutes.
Usage guidelines
When a SVC stays idle (no data are transmitted) for a period specified with the x25 timer idle command,
the router will clear this SVC automatically.
