(1500+5)*8 = 12040. You can use the undo lapb max-frame command to restore the new default. For
the same reason, N1 changes with the change of MTU.
Examples
# Set the LAPB N1 parameter to 1 160 on Serial 2/0.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface serial 2/0
[Sysname-Serial2/0] lapb max-frame 1160
lapb modulo
Use lapb modulo to specify the LAPB modulo.
Use undo lapb modulo to restore the default.
Syntax
lapb modulo { 8 | 128 }
undo lapb modulo
Default
The LAPB modulo is modulo 8.

Usage guidelines
The following LAPB frame numbering modes are available: modulo 8 and modulo 128. Each frame (I
frame) is numbered in sequence, in the range of 0 to the modulo minus 1. Sequence numbers will cycle
within the range.
Modulo 8 is the basic mode, and is implemented in all standard LAPB. It is sufficient for most links.
Examples
# Set the LAPB frame numbering mode on Serial 2/0 to modulo 8.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface serial 2/0
[Sysname-Serial2/0] lapb modulo 8
