Parameters
interface interface-type1 interface-number1: Specifies an interface by its type and number. It can only be
a Layer 3 Ethernet interface, Ethernet subinterface, or VLAN interface.
interface-type2 interface-number2: Specifies an interface by its type and number. It can only be a
synchronous serial interface, MP group interface, POS interface, or POS subinterface.
ip-address ip-address1: Specifies a remote IP address of the interface specified by interface-type1
interface-number1.
ip-address2: Specifies a remote IP address of the PPP interface specified by interface-type2
interface-number2. It must be located on the same network segment as ip-address1.
Examples
# Create an EtoPPP translation mapping to map Ethernet 1/1 to Serial 2/0.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] etoppp translate interface ethernet 1/1 serial 2/0 ip-address 1.1.1.1 1.1.1.2
