Usage guidelines
Because it is possible that some response frames received with the Final bit set to 1 may be falsely treated
as unsolicited response frames, HP recommends that you use the default setting to prevent link flapping
caused by false link re-negotiations that result.
Examples
# Enable LAPB to initiate link re-negotiation when receiving unsolicited response frames on Serial 2/0.

lapb retry

Use lapb retry to configure LAPB parameter N2.
Use undo lapb retry to restore the default.
Syntax
lapb retry n2-value
undo lapb retry
Default
The LAPB parameter N2 is 10.

n2-value: Value of LAPB N2, indicating the maximum retries that a DCE or DTE sends one frame to DTE
or DCE. The value range is 1 to 255.
