1. Clear the DTCs using the HDS.
2. Cycle the ignition switch OFF then O N .
3. Check for DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU
(DTCs) f r o m the HDS.
Is DTCB1055, B1056, B1057, B1058, B1059,
B1060, B1061, B1062 and/or B1063 indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 4.
NO—Intermittent failure, the B-CAN
c o m m u n i c a t i o n line is OK at this t i m e . B
4. Check for DTCs other than those listed above.
Are any other DTCs present?
Y E S — G o t o step 5.
NO—Perform Relay Control M o d u l e Input Test
(see page 22-123).
5. Find the chart that contains at least one retrieved
DTC in c o l u m n A and one retrieved DTC in c o l u m n
B. Perform the input test for the ECU listed in that
chart.
If no DTC f r o m c o l u m n B is f o u n d , then continue to
Relay Control Module input test. •
