Audio Unit
The audio unit receives the audio driving instructions f r o m the navigation unit and transmits the instructions t h r o u g h
the front speakers even w h e n the audio system is in use.
Display Unit
The display unit uses a liquid crystal display (LCD). The LCD is a 7-inch-diagonal, thin f i l m transistor (TFT), stripe type
w i t h 280,800 picture elements, The color f i l m and fluorescent light are laid out on the back of the liquid crystal f i l m .
The touch sensor on the front of the LCD is an infrared type w i t h 20 vertical and 9 horizontal infrared rays to produce
180 sensing points. The display unit transmits the signal f r o m each button and the touch screen c o m m a n d to the
navigation unit using the GA-NET bus.

Microphone
The microphone (on the ceiling, near the front m a p light) receives voice c o m m a n d s and transmits t h e m to the
navigation unit for interpretation.
Talk Button
Activates the voice control system in the navigation unit to accept voice c o m m a n d s .
Back Button
Returns the display to the previous screen (similar function as the CANCEL button).
