9. Check resistance between the No. 3 terminal of the
driver's seat wire harness 3P connector and body
g r o u n d . There should be 0—1 Q.

Is the resistance as specified?
YES—Go to step 10.
NO—Open in the driver's seat w i r e harness or floor
wire harness, or poor ground connection at G601
(see page 22-38). If G601 is OK, replace the faulty
h a r n e s s . •
10. Disconnect the negative cable f r o m t h e battery.
11. Disconnect both seat belt tensioner 4P connectors
f r o m the left or right floor w i r e harness (see page
24-23).
12. Disconnect SRS unit connector B (28P) f r o m the
SRS unit (see page 24-23).
13. Check resistance between the No. 2 terminal of the
driver's seat w i r e harness 3P connector and body
ground. There should be an open circuit or at least
1 M f i .

Is the resistance as specified?
YES — G o t o step 14.
NO—Short to ground in the driver's seat w i r e
harness, left floor wire harness, or MlCU/under-
dash fuse/relay box. Replace the faulty harness or
p a r t . !
14. Check resistance between the No. 1 terminal of the
driver's seat w i r e harness 3P connector and body
g r o u n d . There should be an open circuit or at least
1 M Q .

YES—Replace the SRS unit (see page 24-153). •
NO—Short to ground in the driver's seat w i r e
harness or left floor w i r e harness; replace the faulty
