Starting the self-diagnostic function (without Navigation)
1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC (I) or ON (II).
2. Turn the audio unit O N .
3. While holding d o w n both the "Preset 1 " and "Preset 6 " buttons simultaneously, press the AUDIO PWR knob.
4. " D I A G " w i l l appear on the audio unit display to indicate y o u have entered the self-diagnostic m o d e .
5. By pressing a button while " D I A G " is displayed, the input w i l l trigger a mode that is assigned to that button.
Preset 1 b u t t o n
Active noise control (ANC) system check mode: Pressing the preset 1 button toggles the active control function
between ON and OFF. After each toggle to OFF, in order to repeat the test, turn the ignition switch to OFF(O), then
repeat step 1 then 4.
Preset 3 b u t t o n
Entire LCD lighting mode: Turns on the entire LCD to s h o w the presence or absence of an LCD failure.
Preset 4 b u t t o n
Entire LCD lights-out mode: Turns off the entire LCD to s h o w the presence or absence of an LCD failure.
6. The self-diagnostic function w i l l end w h e n the audio unit is turned off, or the ignition switch is t u r n e d off.
