Seat Belts

Seat Belt Buckle
1. Make sure y o u have the anti-theft codes f o r the
radio and the navigation system, then write d o w n
the audio presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable f r o m the battery, and
w a i t at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
3. Remove the front seat (see page 20-80).
4. Manual seat: Remove the center cover (see page
20-82).
5. Detach the seat belt switch connector (A) and
harness clip (B).

6. Remove the center anchor bolt (A) and detach the
harness clip (B), then remove the seat belt buckle
(C).

7. Pull the seat belt switch harness (D) out t h r o u g h the
space between the seat cushion and the seat
linkage (8-way power seat), or t h r o u g h the hole in
the seat track (manual seat).
