Immobilizer System
I m m o b i l i z e r C o n t r o l U n i t - R e c e i v e r R e p l a c e m e n t
1. Remove the dashboard lower cover (see page
20-67).
2. Remove the steering c o l u m n covers (see page
17-9).
3. Disconnect the 7P connector (A) f r o m the
immobilizer control unit-receiver (B).
4. Remove the t w o screws and the immobilizer
control unit-receiver f r o m the ignition key cylinder
(C).
5. Install the immobilizer control unit-receiver in the
reverse order of removal.
6. After r e p l a c e m e n t check the immobilizer system.
