X M radio preset m e m o r y is lost
1. Set each of the X M radio channel preset buttons.
Do each of the XM radio channel preset
buttons
set
properly?
YES—Go to step 2.
NO—Replace the audio-HVAC display module
(see page 2 3 - 6 9 ) . •
2. Turn OFF the ignition switch for 1 minute, then turn
it back to ON (II).
3. Test all of the X M radio channel preset buttons for
proper recall operation.
Do the preset
buttons recall
the set radio
stations?
YES—System is normal at this t i m e . Check
connections at the audio u n i t . B
N O — G o t o step 4.
4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
5. Measure voltage between audio unit connector A
(20P) No. 10 terminal and body g r o u n d .

voltage?
YES—Go to step 6.
NO—Repair an open in the w i r e between the driver's
under-dash fuse/relay box and audio unit
connector A (20P) No. 10 t e r m i n a l , fl
6. Check for voltage between audio unit connector A
(20P) No. 20 terminal and body g r o u n d .
