Side Airbag
6. Disconnect the side airbag 2P connector (A) f r o m
the floor w i r e harness.

Side curtain airbag
7. Disconnect the side curtain airbag 2P connector (A)
f r o m the side curtain airbag subharness.
Seat belt tensioner
8. Disconnect the seat belt tensioner 4P connector (A)
f r o m the floor wire harness. Pull the seat belt out all
the w a y and cut it.

9. Cut off each connector, strip the ends of the wires,
and connect the d e p l o y m e n t tool alligator clips (A)
to the wires. Place the d e p l o y m e n t tool at least
30 feet (10 meters) away f r o m the vehicle.
NOTE: The driver's and f r o n t passenger's airbags
have dual inflators. Twist each pair of unlike
colored w i r e s together, and clip an alligator clip to
each pair.
