7.3 Downloading System, Remote UI and Language

7.3.1 Making Connections

• Check to make sure that the data lamp of the host machine is off.
1) Turn off the main power switch of the host machine; then, disconnect the power plug
and the network cable.
2) Connect the PC to the parallel connector found on the right side of the controller using a
parallel cable.
• The PC must remain off.
• The 25-pin connector of the bi-Centronics cable must be connected to the PC side,
while the 36-pin connector must be connected to the host machine side.
3) Turn on the PC, and start the Service Support Tool.
4) Connect the power plug of the host machine, and turn on its main power switch.

7.3.2 Starting Downloading

1) Select [Next] under [Download/Upload].
