Disassembly & Reassembly Procedures General notes:  Be sure to protect the printer from static electricity in repair servicing, especially for the scanner unit, main PCB ass’y, and Wireless LAN PCB Ass’y.  Make sure that the flexible cables and wires in the harness are in the proper position and connected correctly.

If you forget to open the ink tank cover, the ink filled in the tube flows into the tank side, and System Cleaning (stronger than Deep Cleaning) is required in order to replenish the ink again.

(20) Removing the Wireless LAN (for the G3000 series only) 1) Remove the screw to remove the wireless LAN PCB ass’y and wireless LAN FFC.

(22) Removing the Main Chassis 1) Remove the two screws and the springs of the joint lever for black and color cartridges, and slide the cartridge joint forward to remove from the carriage.
