Refitting of pushbutton unit
The procedure below details how to refit the pushbutton unit to the robot.

4.6.3. Replacement of pushbutton unit for brake release
Action
1.
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and pneumatic
pressure supplies to the robot!
For Foundry Prime robots: Do not turn off the air
pressure to motors and SMB.

The unit is sensitive to ESD, before handling the unit
please observe the safety information in section
WARNING - The unit is sensitive to ESD! on page 34
3. Refit the new pushbutton unit with its attachment
screws.
4. Refit the connectors X8, X9 and X10 to the
pushbutton unit.
5. Refit the rear cover plate to the base of the robot.
6. Recalibrate the robot!
7.
Make sure all safety requirements are met when
performing the first test run. These are further
detailed in section
