17. Limitless motion / NOLMT
This parameter specifies the axis that is allowed to perform the limitless motion.
When the parameter is initialized, all axes become invalid.
Invalid ........... Makes the limitless motion of the set axis invalid.
Valid ............. Makes the limitless motion of the set axis valid.

This parameter cannot be changed in the servo ON status. To change this parameter,
it is necessary to put the servo in the OFF status.
For details about the limitless motion, refer to the programming manual.
[Procedure]
1) Select "17. Limitless motion" in "SYSTEM>PARAM>AXIS" mode.
2) Press
3) Select the parameter with the cursor ( ↑ / ↓ ) keys.

CAUTION
The limitless motion is applicable to the axes that are set as auxiliary axes in
the system generation settings. To use the limitless motion, be sure to set
target axes as auxiliary axes.
If the MOvE statement or point trace is executed with the limitless motion of
an axis that is not set as auxiliary axis made valid, the error, "2.29: Cannot
move without the limit", occurs and the movement cannot be performed.

NOTE
This parameter is available from controller's software version Ver. 9.39 onwards.

The movement range is limited by the soft limit as usual.
This setting makes the limitless motion in the DRIVE, DRIVEI,
DRIVE2, or DRIVEI2 statement valid.
The soft limit becomes the value shown below when the DRIVE,
DRIVEI, DRIVE2, or DRIVEI2 statement is executed.
+ soft limit : 67,000,000 [pulse]
- soft limit : -67,000,000 [pulse]
* Since the soft limit value is the upper limit value determined by the
hardware, it cannot be changed.
