By default, RIP does not import the route information of other protocol.

3.2.12 Configuring Default Cost for the Imported Route

When using the import-route command to import the routes of other protocols, you
can specify the cost of them. If you do not specify the cost of the imported route, RIP will
set it to the default cost, specified by the default cost parameter.
Perform the following configurations in RIP view.

Restore the default cost of the imported route.
By default, the cost value for the RIP imported route is 1.

3.2.13 Setting the RIP Preference

Each kind of routing protocol has its own preference, by which the routing policy will
select the optimal one from the routes of different protocols. The greater the preference
value is, the lower the preference becomes. The preference of RIP can be set
manually.
Perform the following configurations in RIP view.
