The gears in the development unit are driven by the development drive gear [A]
when the development motor [B] (a dc servomotor) turns.
The gears in the toner hopper are driven by the toner supply roller drive gear [C]
when the toner supply roller clutch [D] activates.
A one-way clutch on the paddle roller knob [F] prevents counter-clockwise rotation
of the paddle roller.
