Starter Replacement
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2, Disconnect the starter cable from the B term inal on
the solenoid , then disconnect th e BLK/WHT wire
from the S terminal.

3. Remove the two bolts holding the starter, then
remove the starter.
4. In stall in the reverse order o f remova l. When
installing the starter cable, make sur e that th e
crimped side of the ring termina l is facing out.

5. Connect the battery positive cable and negative cable
to the battery.

1, Check for co ntinuity between the brushes. If there's
no continuity, replace the armature housing .
2. Check for continuity between each brush and the
armature housing (ground) . If there is continuity,
replace the armature housing.
