Refitting the telescopic shaft
Use these procedures to refit the telescopic shaft.

Action
Fit the sealing ring and the new joint.
Lubricate the screw thread and the washer surface
underneath the screw head.
Secure with the lubricated screws and washers
and tighten, using a special torque wrench head. Hexagon flange bolt: 3HAC058625-
Hold the motor shaft still with an open-end wrench
(47 mm) at the joint while tightening the screws.
Requires two persons.
Note
Replace the washers with new, for hygienic pur-
pose, if the rubber is damaged.
Action
Clean the friction shim, the sealing ring and the
contact surfaces with isopropanol. Inspect for
damage.
Replace if damaged.
