5.4.1 Replacing the base unit

Action
Lubricate the lower arm thread with grease.
Note
The surface under the thread head must be dry
and not contain grease.
Lift and hold the delta unit or place the delta unit
on a workbench.
Orientation of delta unit: axis-4 universal joint side
of delta unit directed towards axis-1 side of robot.

CAUTION
Axis 5 on the delta unit is not stable. There is a
risk of pinching or tipping the unit if holding or
putting down the delta unit on its tilt arm.
Tip
This operation is best performed by two persons
working together.
