F2176 Loss of measuring encoder reference

Cause
Switching on without reference
(in the case of initial commissioning or caused, for
example, by changing parameters that characterize
mechanical system or influence position evaluation)
Encoder defective
Switching on without reference
(after replacement of measuring encoder)
Controller replaced without parameter update
DOK-INDRV*-GEN-**VRS**-WA01-EN-P
LSA Control S.L. www.lsa-control.com comercial@lsa-control.com (+34) 960 62 43 01
Supported by Firmware Variant:
When the controller is switched on, it determines, in the case of absolute
encoder evaluation, the initial position of the measuring system (position
initialization) and checks its plausibility. If the controller detects that the
position data reference of the encoder cannot be established any more
due to changes of the mechanical system parameters or due to
replacement of encoder or device, the actual position value status
(S-0-0403, Position feedback value status) goes to "relative" and this
diagnostic message is generated.
Remedy
Clear error and establish position data reference
Replace measuring encoder, clear error and establish
position data reference

Error 8060 on Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive indicates an overcurrent in the power section. To resolve this issue for five machines, follow these steps for each machine:

1. Check the Load and Connections – Verify that the motor and power connections are correct and not causing excessive current draw.
2. Inspect the Power Section – Look for any visible damage or overheating signs in the power section.
3. Restart the System – Power off the drive, wait for the DC bus to discharge below 50V, and restart.
4. Adjust Parameters if Needed – Ensure that the drive’s current limits and motor settings are correctly configured.
5. Replace Faulty Components – If the issue persists, the power section may be defective and require replacement.

Repeat these steps for all five machines to ensure proper operation.
