Rexroth IndraDrive
F2018 Device overtemperature shutdown
Cause
Overtemperature (heat sink) due to overload of
device
Ambient temperature too high. Specified
performance data are valid up to an ambient
temperature of 40 C.
Heat sink of device is dirty
Convection is prevented by other components or
mounting position of control cabinet
Failure of internal blower
Failure of air conditioning for control cabinet
Incorrect dimensioning of control cabinet with regard
to heat discharge

Supported by Firmware Variant:
Supported by Supply Unit:
The heat sink temperature of the device is monitored by a temperature
sensor and a temperature model. When the heat sink temperature has
reached the maximum value, the device is switched off in order to protect
it against destruction.
Note:
Before the error F2018 is triggered, the warning E2050 Device
overtemp. prewarning is output for 30 s.
Remedy
Switch drive off and let it cool down. Check mechanical
system and drive dimensioning (working power mustn't
exceed, on average, continuous power of drive).
Reduce ambient temperature, e.g. by cooling the control
cabinet
Clean heat sink
Mount device vertically and provide sufficient space for
ventilating heat sink
If blower fails, replace device or power section
Check air conditioning of control cabinet
Check dimensioning of control cabinet

Questions and answers
Our machine in Rexroth drive installation total 20 nos machine so facing issue shortly 5 drive folty 8060 erro so how to do
Error 8060 on Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive indicates an overcurrent in the power section. To resolve this issue for five machines, follow these steps for each machine:
1. Check the Load and Connections – Verify that the motor and power connections are correct and not causing excessive current draw.
2. Inspect the Power Section – Look for any visible damage or overheating signs in the power section.
3. Restart the System – Power off the drive, wait for the DC bus to discharge below 50V, and restart.
4. Adjust Parameters if Needed – Ensure that the drive’s current limits and motor settings are correctly configured.
5. Replace Faulty Components – If the issue persists, the power section may be defective and require replacement.
Repeat these steps for all five machines to ensure proper operation.

What is solution of 2110 fault in rexroth drive
The solution for the F2110 fault in Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive is:
1. If the failure occurs sporadically (firmware error), clear the error and contact the service department for a firmware update.
2. If the error occurs repeatedly, it indicates defective hardware. In this case, the control section or the entire device must be replaced.
3. Only Rexroth service engineers or specially trained users are allowed to replace the control section.
4. The procedure for replacing the entire drive controller is described in the Project Planning Manual for the power section.

The engine moves in manual mode but does not work in automatic mode. The error code is E2074. What should I do?
Error code F2074 indicates a defective motor encoder. To resolve this issue:
1. Check the position data reference – If the position data reference is incorrect, the encoder is defective.
2. Replace the motor or motor encoder – A faulty encoder can prevent movement in automatic mode.
3. Send the motor to the manufacturer’s service department for inspection.
If the issue persists, consult the service department for further assistance.
