2-4-2. Replacing the Point Sensor (KE-3020V)
After the point sensor has been replaced, it is absolutely necessary to re-input the MS
parameters related to the laser. (See section 2-8.)
1) Disconnect the fiber from the point sensor amplifier.
2) Remove the mounting screws
assembly.
3) Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
4) After the point sensor has been mounted, follow the steps on the following page to adjust the
offset and sensitivity of the point sensor.
∗ Apply Loctite 242 to the mounting screws
N⋅m.
∗ After the point sensor has been replaced, make sure that no dirt and dust are sticking to the
lens and slit of the point sensor.
