Replacing the Timing Belt and Adjusting the Belt Tension If a tension of any belt drops below the criteria value, you must adjust it. For the criteria value, see “Readjustment on market” of “Specification values” on page 1-4.

When adjusting the X-motor belt, measure the tension at several positions (at least five positions) while rotating the pulley and check that the averaged value is within the specification value range.

For each axis, connect the GND terminal of the oscilloscope to "0VA" and measure the voltage waveform at the "SIN" terminal. If the sensor bracket is removed, carry out the following adjustment. Loosen the screw fixing the Y-limit sensor bracket and make the adjustment so that the distance from the end face of the linear way is that shown in the figure above.
