Push each one side of the hatched portion of the joint bat shown in the Figure below with the
push-pull gauge and adjust the pre-pressure of the hexagon socket head cap so that the peak
values on both sides show 150±10 (N).
Make the adjustment with the movable cutter blades closed. After the adjustment has been
completed, secure with the nut

10) Apply the alvania grease to the contact surface between the fixed cutter blade and movable
cutter blade. Wipe off the grease so that the oil film can be seen, and then open and close the
cutter blades several times. Pay special attention so that your hand is not injured when
opening or closing the cutter blades.
11) Mount the cover in the reverse order of step 3) described previously.
Mount the guide in the reverse order of steps 2) and 1) described previously.
