Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.2 for ACX Series Universal Access Routers.
option added in Junos OS Release 12.3X52 for ACX Series Universal Access Routers
ppp
Specify the physical link-layer encapsulation type.
cesopsn—Use Circuit Emulation Service over Packet-Switched Network (CESoPSN)
encapsulation on DS0 (
CESoPSN packets, and in the reverse direction, decapsulating CESoPSN packets
back into TDM signals.
ethernet-ccc—Use Ethernet CCC encapsulation on Ethernet interfaces that must accept
packets carrying standard Tag Protocol ID (TPID) values.
flexible-ethernet-services—Use flexible Ethernet services encapsulation when you want
to configure multiple per-unit Ethernet encapsulations. Aggregated Ethernet bundles
can use this encapsulation type. If you configure flexible Ethernet services
encapsulation on the physical interface, VLAN IDs from 1 through 511 are no longer
reserved for normal VLANs.
ima—Use Inverse Multiplexing ATM (IMA) encapsulation on E1 and T1 interfaces that are
members of an IMA group.
ppp—Use serial PPP encapsulation. PPP CCC and PPP TCC encapsulation are not
supported.
satop—Use Structure-Agnostic TDM over Packet (SAToP) encapsulation on E1 and T1
interfaces so that the Interworking Function (IWF) can segment and encapsulate
TDM signals into SAToP packets, and in the reverse direction, decapsulate the SAToP
packets and reconstitute them into TDM signals.
interface—To view this statement in the configuration.
interface-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
